About me
I am an economist with research interests in development economics, health economics, political economy, and peacebuilding. My methodological approach combines quantitative and qualitative methods to provide inputs for policymakers to design, evaluate and implement public policies. My research has been published in high-impact peer-reviewed academic journals such as Child Indicators Research, Journal of Urban Health, and Small Wars and Insurgencies. Additionally, it has been recognized with research grants and awards, including the Newton Fund Links Travel Grant by the British Council (UK), the Child Nutritional Research Award from the Fundación Éxito (Colombia), and the Mauro Institute PACS Research Grant (Canada).
I have been visiting researcher at the Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago, the Michael Nicholson Centre for Conflict and Cooperation, University of Essex, and at the Department of Politics, University of Virginia.
